Email enhancements for Web Hosting!
TOAST.net realizes how important email is to your business, so we are continuously working to enhance our email solutions. We are pleased to announce several enhancements to SmarterMail (the feature-packed email system included with our Windows Hosting Plans).
If you are not using SmarterMail to manage your email, we encourage you to give it a try. SmarterMail features an easy-to-use interface, 500 MB of storage, spam filtering, and much more.
Anti-Spam update

Close to 60% of all email is spam. We work hard to filter the junk and make sure legitimate messages reach their destination. Here are some recent updates to our spam protection:
- Blacklists - We’ve refined the scoring and updated our blacklists (sources of spam) for more accurate blocking.

- Filtering - Messages are sorted based on likelihood of spam:
- Messages with a medium or high probability of spam content are moved to the Junk E-Mail folder.
- Messages with a low probability are tagged as [Spam] and delivered to the Inbox.

- Junk E-Mail Folder - To conserve mailbox space, messages in the Junk Email folder will be automatically deleted after 30 days.
You can override many of these settings by logging into SmarterMail and clicking Settings.
Spam or not? Your decision matters.
Part of the reason it’s called SmarterMail is its ability to learn. You have the power to mark messages Spam or Not Spam. By marking messages Spam or Not Spam, SmarterMail learns and adjusts for future decision-making.
Heard about your announcement of WIFI in late Sept. Then in Oct we heard its coming in November. Then, we head it was coming in a week or so. OK, you have our attention. When is it going to be announced and how much is it going to run. Appreciate it.
I feel your pain Tom. There’s some delays due to last minute technical adjustments. We want to get this to you as fast as possible, but we also want to make sure it will be an awesome and trouble-free product. Hang on just a bit longer…release is imminent!
Doug, Thanks. We appreciate the love of excellence and look forward to this soon. Tom
Lately, I’ve experienced numerous e-mail problems. A far car from the years of POP free from problem service… What’s going on with this IMAP stuff… Right now I can’t even log in to get my mail off the Toast/Start page…. ))-; Don
Don,
Wow, POP3…it’s been a while since anyone’s mentioned that
What would want to do is get in contact with one of our great techs to help you out with this. Go to http://www.toast.net/support and you can either click the “Chat” button for instant help, fill out the email request form to have someone contact you, or give us a call. Yeah, I too was wondering what was going on with the Wifi? Guess we have to wait awhile longer huh?
Any news yet who the wifi carrier/server/whatever will be?
